An escrow is a contract between parties where a third party receives and distributes money or documents for the two main transacting groups. The delivery of these is dependent on conditions that both parties agreed to. A broker can also be involved by holding funds on behalf of the broker's overseer or some other person until the contact is either fulfilled or broken.
